What to expect on your new patient visit:

At The Flossery, our doctors spend quality one-on-one time with you in a no-rush and calm setting to help understand your needs and goals.

During your new patient experience, we will reserve a full hour appointment just for you. During this appointment our doctors will do a take a thorough history of your symptoms and goals for care.

The exam will cover the airway, facial muscles, jaw, occlusion (bite), oral cancer screening, breathing, orthodontics, esthetics, gum health, inflammation, tooth health, home care, and nutrition.

With technology such as a 3D cone beam CT, an intraoral scanner, and microbiome testing, our team will determine the true and root cause of your oral health problems for a prevention focused and biologically compatitble solution.

Because of the complexity and thoroughness of this exam, most patients will have their dental hygiene (cleaning) appointment scheduled with the next treatment visit. If you prefer to have an extended visit to include a dental cleaning at this appointment, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.

Yes! We believe you should be in charge of your health care decisions. We believe in offering you the best care for your needs and do not let insurance dictate your care. We are non-restricted providers with many insurance companies which means we can use your insurance benefits for your treatment without compromising care. In some cases, your insurance may pay us directly. In other cases, they may reimburse you for the care you receive in our practice.
