Welcome!
We are thrilled you’ve discovered our practice. Our mission is to deliver outstanding care that aligns with your overall health objectives, emphasizing compatibility with your body’s natural balance. Our doctors are highly skilled in the mouth-body connection and deliver excellent care. We combine ancient wisdom of healing with the latest in technology to provide optimal results—reduced pain, faster healing, and long-term health. We have options for everyone, no matter where you are on your health journey.
Please review these guidelines to ensure our practice is the right fit for you.
To offer you the exceptional service we’re known for, all patients must adhere to our new patient policies. While we aim to accommodate every request, adherence to our diagnostic protocols is mandatory. Patients who cannot comply will regrettably be unable to proceed with their appointment. While rare, transparency is key to maintaining trust with both new and existing patients.
Key Requirements for New Patients
- Complete Forms: Submit all registration forms at least 48 hours before your appointment. Patients who fail to do so or arrive less than 30 minutes early may not be seen and could incur a cancellation fee.
- Credit Card on File: Provide a valid credit card to place a $1 hold.
- Imaging: If you provide previous X-rays, ensure they are clear and less than a year old. The doctor will determine if additional imaging is needed. Submit imaging at least 48 hours before your appointment to records@myflossery.com.
Mandatory Diagnostics for New Patients
To ensure accurate and effective diagnosis and treatment, all new patients must complete specific evaluations and procedures during their initial visit. Records from outside providers (e.g., CBCT scans, X-rays, MRIs) will be reviewed but may not exempt you from undergoing these assessments at our office:
- 3D CBCT scan (ultra-low radiation; includes antioxidant support with Vitamin E)
- 3D digital impressions (if restorative work is required)
- Intraoral HD photos (teeth, oral tissue, and mucosa)
- Digital bitewings or peri-apical radiographic imaging (low radiation exposure)
- Physical head and neck exam (cranial bones, TMJ, lymph nodes, and tonsils)
- Additional testing (biocompatibility, saliva, or sleep studies) as applicable
Patients who decline required diagnostics (e.g., CBCT scans, bitewings, or intraoral imaging) will not be scheduled for their first visit. If compliance is an issue during the appointment, the visit will be terminated before meeting with the doctor. These steps are vital for providing comprehensive and precise care.
Insurance Policy
We are non-participating providers with insurance, but you can use your insurance to cover your case with our office. Please read our insurance policy here.
Financial Policy
- Payment is required at the time of service unless a prearranged payment plan is in place.
- For insurance claims, we provide a printed form for submission to your insurance provider. More details on insurance policies are available here.
- Cancellations: If you’ve already scheduled your appointment but wish to cancel after reviewing these guidelines, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee. (Note: Our office is closed on weekends, so these days are excluded.)
Family Member Policy
We are a family practice and we look forward to meeting your whole family! We know that some of our patients travel from very far and would like to schedule the family together.
Please note that our reception area and operatories are intimate and cannot accommodate many guests. As such, we recommend no more than one guest per patient (or two caregivers with a child). If you and more than two children are receiving care on the same day in our office, we ask that a second caregiver wait with the other children outside. We have wonderful parks and libraries in the area. This is to make sure our doctors can focus on the patient in front of them so that we can care for your children fully. We want you and your children to have the best experience possible. When siblings are in the room with the patient during care, it can distract the doctor and the patient. Please confirm your calendar when booking multiple appointments as the cancellation fee applies to each member of the family that is appointed for that day.
Cancellation Policy
To avoid late cancellation fees, please cancel appointments at least seven days in advance. Failure to complete the online registration forms within 48 hours of scheduling will result in automatic cancellation. Rescheduling will require form completion and prepayment for the appointment in full.
Our doctors maintain a waitlist to accommodate patients in need. If you cannot attend, please let us know so we can assist another patient. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
